This figure assumes the quarterly VAT regime. If the company moves to the monthly regime, the retainer is revised.

What defines the price
Higher turnover means greater accounting complexity and more responsibility before the Tax Authority. It is the single biggest factor in setting the retainer.
Complex operations, import/export, intra-EU VAT, special regimes or the Madeira Free Trade Zone all require more oversight and specialised technical knowledge.
The Companies tier includes payroll processing for up to 3 employees. Each additional employee adds a fixed amount to the monthly retainer.
The monthly VAT regime involves more work and a higher cadence of reporting obligations than the quarterly regime, which may justify an adjustment to the retainer.
Construction, Holiday Lettings, Tourism and companies with international operations have their own tax specificities that add complexity to the accounting work.
The Companies tier includes payroll processing for up to 3 employees. From the 4th employee onwards, each additional team member is quoted individually. The fairest, most transparent way to grow, never by counting invoices.
Document collection
If your company is based outside the municipality of Calheta, there is no need to travel. We schedule and collect your physical documents on site, on the date that suits you best.
